What is EcoCamp Huacachina?

A glamping site in the Huacachina oasis (Ica, Peru) with 13 spacious tents, a pool with bar, hot-water bathrooms, a shared kitchen, BBQ and fire pit, and free WiFi.

How much does a tent cost?

The Double Tent (1 double bed, up to 2 guests) is from USD 45 per night and the Quadruple Tent (2 double beds, up to 4 guests) from USD 70 per night. Confirm the rate for your dates on WhatsApp.

What's included?

A tent with double beds, quality bedding and a fan; 24-hour hot-water bathrooms; pool with bar; equipped shared kitchen; BBQ and fire pit area; free WiFi and 10% off at Wild Olive Trattoria.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 pm. You can ask about late check-out. Reception is open 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

What discount do I get at Wild Olive?

EcoCamp guests get 10% off at Wild Olive Trattoria, the Italian trattoria facing the Huacachina lagoon. Just mention you're staying at EcoCamp before asking for the bill.

I'm staying at Wild Olive Guest House. Can I use the pool?

Yes. Wild Olive Guest House guests get free access to the EcoCamp pool and 10% off at the pool bar. Tell reception you're staying at Wild Olive.

Is it suitable for families with children?

Yes. The Quadruple Tent has two double beds for up to 4 people and the pool is great for cooling off.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed in the camp.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, free WiFi throughout the camp.

Can I cook?

Yes. There's an equipped shared kitchen and a BBQ and fire pit area.

How do I get there from Lima?

Take a direct bus to Ica (4–5 hours). From Ica bus terminal, take an Uber to Huacachina: 10–15 minutes, around S/ 12–20.

Does Uber work in Ica and Huacachina?

Yes. It's the easiest way to get here from Ica bus terminal. You can also use inDrive or a taxi.

Are there ATMs in Huacachina?

Yes, there are ATMs in Huacachina. Many businesses also accept cards, Yape and Plin.

When is the best time to visit Huacachina?

Any month: it's sunny practically all year. April to November has mild days and December to March is full summer, ideal for the pool.

Do you arrange dune buggy and sandboarding tours?

At reception we can help you arrange them with local operators, at an extra cost.

Where can I eat near EcoCamp?

We recommend Wild Olive Trattoria on the Huacachina boardwalk: artisan pizzas, pasta and Peruvian dishes with lagoon views, and 10% off for our guests. We also have a pool bar.
